The Doc ID Solution


Smart Health Technology presents the Doc ID.  The Doc IDsolution provides a secure two factor authentication product for secure network access.  Secure and two factor authenticated access for physicians and Hospital personnel is required by law.  In addition, the Drug Enforcement Administration has proposed regulations that require doctors to use two factor authentication when issuing electronic prescriptions for controlled substances.  These forces will require all medical personnel within Hospitals to have a Secure Smart Card Doc IDcard to ensure and authenticate identity.  Smart Card Based ID Badges for Hospital Personnel especially Physicians to access the network within the hospital and remotely out of hospital.

Time to Implement the Doc ID Solution is now soon to be required by law please see the Office of Inspector General Department of HHS report regarding Secure Identification of Hospital Personnel and Health Care Providers.  The report is titled AUDIT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SECURITY INCLUDED IN HEALTH INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY STANDARDS.
